Allison Allen
Senior Associate

Allison’s focus is on building vital connections among people, information, and ideas that help individuals and organizations build capacity to learn and innovate.  She consults in the areas of leadership development, critical thinking and ethics, knowledge management, and complexity management.

 Allison’s experience includes:  

  • Designed and conducted training in critical thinking, communication, and ethics
  • Coached seasoned professionals for improved performance
  • Trained St. Edward’s University graduate students in leadership and critical thinking skills
  • Helped lead economic development and recruitment efforts for the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce
  • Created successful business networks and ongoing events for Chamber industry groups such as biotech and telecommunications to facilitate entrepreneurship and industry development
  • Researched the connection between culture and innovation for IC2 Institute
  • Broad business experience in for profit and non profit organizations including banking, healthcare, mortgage, technology, and economic development
  • Managed successful small business and held numerous community leadership positions

Allison holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Ethics (MSOLE) from St. Edward’s University.  She is a Presidential Fellowship recipient and was honored as Outstanding MSOLE student 2003-2004.  She teaches critical thinking and communication to graduate students at St. Edward’s University.  Her bachelor’s degree is in Business Administration. 

She is a Leadership Austin alumnus and has served as a member of the St. Edward’s University leadership team researching and producing the annual Ethics in Business awards.  Allison is certified in the Insights Discovery System.
